TheClock
An alarm clock that gets you out of bed, with a world clock, timers, a stopwatch and home-screen widgets.
What it does
Alarms
One-time or repeating alarms with labels, a ringtone of your choice, vibration and a volume that rises gradually. Set the snooze length and how many snoozes are allowed. Skip just the next ring of a repeating alarm and undo it. An optional quiet notice 15 or 30 minutes, or 1 or 2 hours, before an alarm lets you skip it in advance.
Dismiss with a puzzle
Turn on a maths challenge so the alarm only stops once you have solved it. Pick the difficulty and the number of questions.
Rings when it should
Full-screen over the lock screen. Alarms are booked again after a restart, a time or time-zone change, or an app update, and the next day of a repeating alarm is booked the moment one rings.
World clock
Search a built-in list of cities (works offline), name each place yourself, reorder by dragging, and see the time difference and day or night for each.
Timers and stopwatch
Presets and custom timers with labels, several at once, ringing even when the app is closed. The stopwatch records laps and marks the fastest and slowest.
Clock face and night clock
Digital or analog, 12 or 24 hour, light or dark, with eight typefaces for the digits. Night clock is a bedside mode: pure black, a dim time that drifts slightly every minute to protect the screen, the next alarm underneath, and the screen stays on.
Widgets
Seven home-screen widgets: digital, analog, single-city world clock, world clock grid, a world dashboard and a next-alarm widget. Choose dark, white or transparent styling. They re-arrange themselves when you resize them.
Weather (optional, off by default)
Current conditions and today’s high and low for your location or a town you pick, in °C or °F, plus optional weather on each world-clock city. Data comes from MET Norway and is cached for an hour.

Your data
Stays on your phone
Alarms, cities, timers and settings are stored on your device. There is no account.
Weather is the only thing that leaves it
If you turn weather on, the app sends approximate coordinates to the forecast service of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (api.met.no). As with any web request, that service can also see your IP address. Nothing goes to Tabpoint. Read the full privacy policy for TheClock.
Weather data: MET Norway, licensed CC BY 4.0. The digit typefaces (Outfit, Figtree, DM Sans, Manrope, Space Grotesk, JetBrains Mono, Lora and Orbitron) are used under the SIL Open Font License.
