TheReminderApp
Reminders that take over the screen like an alarm, and stay in step with your Google and Outlook calendars.
What it does
Alerts you cannot miss
When a reminder is due, a full-screen alert appears over the lock screen with Done and Snooze, plus sound and vibration. A repeating reminder you ignore rings again at its next time.
Lists, tags and notes
Keep several lists, add tags and flags, and write a note of up to 10,000 characters with bullet and checklist lines under any reminder. Search finds words in titles and notes. Plain list items with no date never ring and stay out of Today.
Fast to use
Swipe a row to complete it, flag it, move it, change its date or delete it. Every change offers Undo. Add a reminder with the Today, Tomorrow and Next week shortcuts, and use the Calendar tab for a month view.
Your calendars, in one place
Events from the calendars already on your phone (Google, Outlook and others) are listed with your reminders, with an optional alert. All-day events are included.
Reminders by place, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
Be reminded when you arrive at or leave a saved place, when your phone joins or loses a Wi-Fi network, or when a Bluetooth device connects or disconnects, even with the app closed.
Widgets and looks
Home-screen widgets in many layouts (upcoming reminders, quick add, calendar, checklist, countdown and more), light and dark themes, accent colours and an optional photo background.
A permissions checklist
Phone makers often restrict alarms in the background. The app shows what is blocking alerts on your phone and how to fix it, including the switches Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, Huawei, OPPO and vivo add.
Backup and import
Export a backup file to Google Drive, Nextcloud or your phone and restore it on another phone. Bring in tasks from a TickTick CSV backup.
Optional sync
To keep several devices in step, you can sign in to a sync server that you run yourself. It also gives you a web page and a Windows app. Tabpoint does not host a sync service and never sees your reminders.
Everything that makes the app ring is free. Place, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reminders, extra widget layouts, the photo background, colour themes and the Windows app are planned as an optional Pro upgrade. Pricing is not decided yet.

Your data
On your phone by default
Reminders, lists, tags, places and settings are stored on your device.
What can leave the phone
Your reminders go to a server only if you sign in to one you run yourself. Backups go only where you save them. When you search for an address while adding a place, the text you type is sent to your phone’s built-in location search, which is usually provided by Google.
